Delivery & Pickup

Do you deliver to my location?

Air Direct is a Perth based business, located in Malaga in the northern suburbs. Currently we offer cost effective delivery to all areas in Perth and can offer delivery at competitive rates through our logistics partners. Use the Ask A Question form on the product page or contact us to get a quote for delivery outside of the Perth metro or to country areas.

Do you offer local pickup?

Sorry, but at this time we are not offering Local Pickup primarily because our warehouse is setup for trade customers only.

What happens if I am not home when the driver attempts to deliver?

The driver will contact you (if you provided a mobile phone number) advising they will have to move on, and we will attempt delivery on the next available day that suits you.

What if my delivery is delayed?

If there are any delays or other problems at all with your order - whether it’s at our end or the manufacturer’s - we’ll get in touch with you as soon as possible.

What if I need to change my delivery date or details?

If you need to change your delivery date or address, please contact our customer service team on 08 9203 2000 at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date.

Installation

Will you install my new air conditioner?

Air Direct is a wholesaler but we do have an extensive network of installers that we deal with. Every one of these installation companies have been verified, by us, to provide an excellent service at a fair price. Please submit an enquiry here and we can put you in touch with a contractor in your area to arrange a fast and efficient installation.

Whilst Air Direct recommends certain installers, Air Direct is in no way responsible for those installers and your arrangement with them to install the product is a separate agreement. Air Direct will not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising out of your use of a recommended installer.

Can I install a split system air conditioner myself?

It's not recommended to install a split system air conditioner yourself unless you have the necesary skills, knowledge and experience in HVAC installation. It is generally recommended to hire a licensed and qualified professional for safe and proper installation. Contact us if you need help selecting an installer.

If you install the air conditioner yourself or use an unqualified installer your warranty will be void.

Returns & Warranty

Do you offer Australian warranty with all of your products?

All of the products that Air Direct offer carry full manufacturer warranty. These warranty periods vary slightly between brands however all offer comprehensive parts and labour for between 5 and 7 years.

What if I receive the unit and it’s the wrong size for my space?

Please be very careful to determine the correct capacity system for your needs as whilst we do accept returns, you will be liable to a pickup fee and a restocking fee. If the system has been unboxed, no returns will be allowed.

There are many factors that determine cooling and heating requirements, and "online calculators" do not provide a guarantee of adequate capacity for your situation.

However, we generally recommend 2.5-3.5kW for small rooms, 3-5kW for medium size rooms, 6-7kW for large rooms, and minimum 8kW or greater for larger or open-plan rooms.

Can I exchange the unit I bought for another?

The quickest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

What if my order is damaged?

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
